Mondo is a privately owned and independently operated Hotel and Everyone is delighted to be back at work Welcoming Guests. We are renowned for our warm welcome and friendly staff.
To the best of our ability in compliance with the Government Guidelines, we have implemented several new policies to help protect the safety of our Team and Guests. All Hotel staff will be following new protocols. Albeit we were always committed to high standards of hygiene within the Hotel Pre Covid-19
We would appreciate your assistance in working together to adhere to the Guidance provided.
We would ask you respect Social Distancing Guidelines throughout your stay and where possible keep left whilst following directional signage.
Upon Entry to the Hotel Reception we have implemented a 1 way system and the Exit is via the corridor door. (Max of Guests in Reception at any one time is 4).
Reception has a Perspex screen and Team members will be wearing masks where appropriate. Hand Sanitiser is available for your convenience in our Reception & Restaurant Area.
We have enhanced the current cleaning procedures and made the necessary adjustments to protect the health of our guests. All main touch points within your Room will be fully sanitised with Antiviral Disinfectant Spray.
Housekeeping/Reception staff will focus on sanitising commonly touched surface areas 24 hours a day.
We have removed some soft furnishings such as cushions and throws and also room brochures from the bedrooms... (electronic versions will be available soon)
If a bedroom is occupied by the same guest for more than one night, we will not service room unless requested in advance by the Guest.
All laundry is washed at a temperature which guarantees elimination of any potential trace of Covid-19.
Tea/Coffee etc is available for collection from the Reception in disposable cups only, upon request
Room Keys will be sanitised before and after use
On vacating your room, we ask you to leave your windows open to ventilate it

It’s is essential that you prebook your Reservation. For the foreseeable future the Restaurant will be running with reduced numbers, this allows us to manage the volume of guests and team members within any one area. This ensures social distancing guidelines are followed, unfortunately as a result and there is no Bar/Waiting Area
The table layouts include Perspex dividers, creating a safe environment for our Team members and our Guests. You will be offered a disposable paper copy of the menu and drinks list; you are welcome to keep this or your sever can discard of for you. Regular cleaning and sanitising of tables will take place between sittings.
You can book a by calling 01236 427397 or ask the Hotel Reception to call for you. Unfortunately, Restaurant Bookings are not guaranteed to Hotel Guests, due to popular demand
NB: There is a Hand Sanitiser Station on entry to the Restaurant and your Temperature will be taken.
Breakfast in Mondo Restaurant
Due to the current guidelines and restrictions we will now offer 2 options for Breakfast. We have reverted back to an A la Carte offering, in order for us to manage your dining experience safely.
However, for your preference and convenience you will have the option to request a ‘Grab N Go Breakfast’
Sit In Service & Grab N Go and … both require to be ordered in advance…
Sit In Service will be served between Monday to Friday 7am-10am & Saturday/Sunday 8am-10am.
We took this opportunity to re-evaluate all of our policies and procedures to ensure that you feel safe and secure during your entire stay. We are constantly reviewing and updating our practices in line with the UK & Scottish Government
Our Reception is 24 Hours and the Reception Team will continue to sanitize common areas out with the hours of Housekeeping Team.
